This is a site I must recommend to everyone, yes there have been sites like deviantart but over years it has become to much cluttered and too difficult to browse, on the other hand there is flickr which is on spectrum’s other end, both very powerful but nothing is browsable, enter vi.sualize.us, a image social book marking, just log in and check out.

I would recommend everyone to log on to this site and start your family tree, If you are the kind of person who actually started creating family tree in offline software and found yourself at a dead end, this is amazing piece of software, yes there were others like this out there, but this one looks promising, It is still in its beta and has its quirks but I would certainly recommend supporting this site which will make this site even better, One great feature is if you invite your family member, they can start entering with them as the center of the tree.
P.S: On more of a personal note, I entered 138 members of my family and I was actually amazed that I knew so many people.

I came across this site, and thought this was fun, I always had this idea, and somebody did it, nayio.com has started a new service called Humming search.
The concept is really simple, all you have to do is hum a few lines, and it will give the info on the song, It works only in IE so far as it uses a ActiveX control. The service was good for a new one. I think it needs lot of refinement, but hey we all know how good is speech recognition. If get a hit you will get link redirecting to napster, where you can listen or buy the song. Well I tried few songs but no hit, but surely after refinements this will be a great tool. But it still can’t beat asking your friend.
